Orientation to become a association member of the International Family Planning Federation (IPPF)

During July 5-6, 2023, PFHA organized a national planning commission orientation meeting for management board and staff including volunteers on the topic “become a member of the International Family Planning Federation (IPPF)”. The meeting was welcomed and opened by Dr. Chansy Phimphachanh, the president of PFHA, together with the board of directors, directors, staff and volunteers, participant are 31 people and 22 women. The speakers are Mrs. Juliana Premala Moses and Mrs. NurmajDina BINTI ABDULLAH from the regional office of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).

During the presentation, participants learned about the IPPF network, criteria, standard and strategies including how membership works.

In addition, two representatives also visited the office and consultation room in the afternoon. The meeting and visit of the two representatives of IPPF this time had an exchange of discussion and exchange so that the management board, staff and volunteers know and understand better about the process and procedure of preparing to become a member of IPPF including the role of each party.
